The Library 2.0 Community
Has anyone not seen that Bill Drew created a MySpace-esque Library 2.0 social network community using Ning? It's really quite nifty. I'm just a li'l cranky that we didn't do it first.
But no biggie. I've created a page and here it is!

Don't be cranky about it. It is open to all with any interest in Library 2.0. It now has over 200 members as of 11:58 AM eastern time.

Aw, I'm not really cranky. Honestly, I'm impressed, Bill. I think it's awesome that you threw this together. It's just that Jessica and I are always going on about fostering the library community on the web and building a place where different people can connect and have a voice. (Which is the point of this here blog...)

I was just coming here to post about this, and you beat me to the punch! I should have known when I saw you were already on L2.0 that you would break the news.

Bill, very awesome!
Josh, I think that I just don't have the readership (yet!) to pull in the "numbers." I have tried contacting a few select people directly re this blog and Library Links, hoping to get a mention here and there, but no luck so far.
I can't get too bummed - Cool Librarian is really a combo of the personal and professional, so it certainly isn't as hard-core as the strictly professional blogs.
Bill, I'll love you if you give Library Links a plug on your page!
